Is it possible to get power of attorney from a turkish embassy in another country without the person that I want to give poa to, being there. This is for the trnc as I am living in bulgaria and can't get over to cyprus. Just wondered if anyone had done this before. Posting on behalf of a friend. Thanks Steve

the all important thing here is the signature of the person giving the poa. The person receiving should not be required to be present. No point in it because his signature and/or acceptance is noyt required. Of course you must give sufficient details to identify the receiver free from any ambiquity, otherwise it may be of no use to anybody. ismet

Thank you both for your replies, it has all been sorted out and I didn't need to be present.
