All Troy Lakers, Is anyone aware of exactly where or when your villa's will be completed ...actually started. Come to think of it website has been static ..surely we would have had an update from the recent event in Sept at the property investor show that was at the Excel in London. Also, did others question the sale agreements with their solicitors? What's your thoughts on the delay? Forum is quiet....so I'm extremely interested ...specifically from fellow Troy Lakers.

Hello Ivor70 our Villa on Othello II was due for completion at the end of June 2008. We were given a couple of options to consider and dates for completion were December this year and June next year. We await our monthly update from Sharon Mills which I am sure will put us all in the picture and give us the reassurance we need that progress is being made.

Hi Simbas, heard rumour your villa was show home, which obviously there was an nesscessity to complete and you were lucky, but how many others are actually completed on Orthello II, information may give some of the other poor purchasers some hope if they know , say how many in last year perhaps. Kind regards p

hi paul , actually you are very wrong ,it was not the show house , although pictures of our villa have been used , and i have heard that prospective buyers have been shown around our villa , because it is fully furnished i would assume , ours was not the first , the show house was already built before we even saw the site , it belongs to a guy named Barry and in actual fact our was about the 5th or 6th , i dont know how these rumours start paul , but who ever starts them should really get their facts correct before they start spouting their unfounded suppositions . there has to be about 20 structures completed i have'nt been inside them but you can see from the outside , and you can quote me on that , and while we were there { only came back on the 16th } work was being done on a daily basis i actually went round and copied the numbers of the plots that were being being worked on , just in case people are interested , hope this clears a few things up regards , simbas

What a suprise.....the rumours....rumours! Well I can confirm that works to Othello I are underway again to finish off that part of the phase. we are awaiting works on II to start and have been advised these are in the offing. I have been on site several times during our two week Holiday in NC. Well said Patricia, you have a better temper than me!! My regards to the chief rumour monger and all the sad listeners..

Dozey/Simba's et al. The plots you refer to are Othello I right, do you know of any structures up on Othello II. I assume we all had the first project plan that didnt take place because of contractor issues. The next update from TLake is due and it says on the website that a letter is going out to us all this week apparently, which is from Hassan himself. Perhaps that has Othello II schedule for us all and new dates to look forward too! At least Simba's has seen "concrete" evidence that some foundations have been done (excuse the pun).

Does anyone know the current state of Troy Lake? I have just returned from Cyprus and found that, due to the non-payment of a bill, the power at Othello Villas 1 site had been turned off. On this visit we also noticed that the site is quickly returning to what it was before development was carried out i.e. a field. Any idea of what is going on? I know many customers have had trouble with company and that I am just one of many that have issues, however until now I have tried to deal with them direct on my own, I'm no longer sure this is the right approach! I look forward to your views / comments.

Simbas, I am being serious. Check out this link: http://www.troylake.co.uk/index.php?men=45&submen=0 Is it me being thick or is there now an Othello 3 on their advertisement? I am worried that people have not got their homes from 1 & 2 yet, let alone starting a number 3. Your comments would be appreciated.

Hi Bradus . I'm speechless [ for once ] and no you are not being thick , it certainly says starting soon and completion 2010 . it was advertised by Troy Lake uk 2009 , i can't for the life of me understand why they are still advertising , while 1 & 2 remain unfinished ? Simbas

Forgive me for being blunt but they do have a record of taking all money upfront and then not delivering. How many people are still waiting for their fully paid homes? It really is scandalous Simbas. I was also speechless but mainly saddened knowing what Othello 1 and 2 buyers have experienced already. Do you still think the buyers will ever get their properties? I really hope so as too many dreams have been shattered already.

Hi Bradus & Simbas I have stayed off the forum in the hope of getting something sorted but it just seems impossible. A couple of people have taken legal action but whether or not they will get anything back I don't know. I sincerely hope they do. We are now considering this as we have been trying to contact the (MD) ssh you know who!!!! but he just doesn't answer us. They were supposed to be finishing 4 more villas this summer but looking at the facts ie. electric and water cut off, no builders working on site and a couple of legal cases going on, I can't see anything happening EVER!!!! I cannot tell you just how much I wish I had never heard the name Troy Lake! I really don't think anyone will be taken in by Othello 3 now, as they have got so much negative publicity on these sites. Regards Toady

The problem is that this thread will disappear and then more victims will be taken in and hand over cash for Othello 3. Anyone buying in the TRNC should be warned about this builder. I wondered if any of the buyers that had bought through the British offices had successfully played apart in getting the MD's wife taken off the practicing lawyers register in England?

Unfortunately the TRNC runs on a pyramid scheme basis; it always needs a fresh supply of mugs to keep the ball rolling and the money coming in. Mark

Hello Toady, I have just replied to your e-mail to me and left some info for you. I have been away for a while. Still problems exist and will take some time. Have not had any contact from any of the others for a while. Bradus....you really do take the biscuit......the Othello III ad on the website says on it "COMING SOON" no floor plans, pictures or prices have never been released and I doubt they ever will....that ad and a couple more like the Golf Course also has "COMING SOON" blazened across it , they are nearly two years old! None have been sold or any deposits taken........ The next time you put something on....please make sure you have the correct info.......DOH...

But the question is Lindz why even bother putting up this advert in 2009 when problems have been going on for many on Othello 1 and 2 since 2005? How can they even THINK about another Othello 3, regardless of floor plans pictures or anything else? I take it that you are saying that there won't be another Othello 3? So the forum will not be subjected to more victims robbed of their life savings?

Lindz.....can I take it that you are one of that extremely rare and endangered species..."The Happy Troy Laker " ? If you ARE in the almost unique and fortunate position on this site of having a completed property, then instead of adopting an I'm alright Jack attitude, please spare a thought for the majority of poor individuals who have paid hundreds of thousands of pounds of hard earned money to a company that has fed them false promises for 4 or 5 years. Out of the total "sold"....how many are complete and handed over? Are the roads, services and infrastructure in place? Does the site have mains electricity and water connected? Is the site a hive of activity and are building operations in full swing? Please answer the questions truthfully and don't encourage more innocent punters to make the same mistakes.

Bradus - DOH!!! like Lindz has said the adds for othello III have been up there for TWO YEARS TWO YEARS TWO YEARS and not since 2009 DOH!!!! listen whether they have thought about it or not is totally irrelevant!! 1) has the site been released? NO 2) have any plots been sold? NO 3) has any money for this so called development exchanged hands? NO 4) is there any site plans? NO 5) are there any floor plans? NO 6) have they any plans to release this site before they finish what they have started? NO NO & oh yeah NO! we should all count ourselves lucky that they havent done a runner and are seriously trying to sort things out. and yes i am in the class of 'The Happy TroyLaker' and only because i know what they are going through and have been through. maybe you should request to attend some of there meetings!? they only just had one on Friday, apparently there is alot of positive things going on. i for one count my lucky stars that they are still around get over it!

willitorwanti Hi Tiggy, Would these be the positive things that are going on? "On this visit we also noticed that the site is quickly returning to what it was before development was carried out i.e. a field" "I cannot tell you just how much I wish I had never heard the name Troy Lake" I could have added 5 or more comments but what is the point? I just don't want any more victims taken advantage of.

Bradus Please dont worry yourself there are no more victims and there wont be either, no more selling just completing what has been sold and sooner than you think! so dont worry yourself please. I am sure Troy Lake wished so much how they never met you either, works both ways! they also have some plans for all the negatives out there that have slowed them down even further!!! WATCH THIS SPACE! some people got a shock on the way! and who the hell is TIGGY!!!!!!! see ya xxx

Dear Bradus, I have in all honesty made a mistake. Lindz is my partner and when I logged on to my computer after returning from holiday I did not realise that she was still logged on the forum. So message 33 is from me. Lindz is still on holiday. Williorwonti is not me and Izzet or other moderators can confirm this for you. As I said earlier the advert has been on the website for a considerable time. (PROPOSED) and the web site has not been updated ....the starting price as stated was £0 .....if this is the case I could have bought all of Othello III for £0 !!! As for Cronos.....you are not worth it mate. I do not have a "Im alright Jack attitude" I am fully aware of the problems I and other have had. We are hoping for something to happen to finish the place off. I have helped many with problems on the site and am still prepared to do so. So until you get your facts rights....DOH. TIGGY aka Patrick and in the past....Kapparis Kid.
