Just had this. An d no, I am not a wally, but have written and challenged their asking for a sifre when the rest is in English. Anyone else had one? And what computer buff knowsx how to track them down and report them? Genuine I think not! Thieves and rogues, I think yes.

I wouldn't , message 2, but I am qworried if anyone else got one and thought it was genuine. It is obviously a go at stealing e mail addresses - happens easily enough in other way. But I can't imagine it was only me that got one. that is why I want to hear if anyone else did.

I always return those emails to the sender and ask for money funny they dont reply.

▶ Exactly what you should NOT do! You are validating your email address for the crooks and will be in probably more than one database from that moment on. There are two ways to react: 1: mark the message as junk and then delete (for ever, if you have that option in your web based (which is standard provided in gmail.com ) or disk based email program. Or 2 (better): bounce the message which will inform the crooks' database that your email address does not exist (invalid) hence a miss (and no use to use it again).
