You don't get 10% on Sterling at Iktisat Bank.



You can get that sort of rate on a Turkish Lira account and you pay 10% tax at source on the interest.

Credit West. Was 9% now 8%. But compared with the UK interest rate. It's blooming good. Don't forget you pay tax though.

Iktisat bank 7 % ...used to be 8 before..this is for TL accounts

Ziraat bank 6.5%

credit west 8% used to be..is it still the same.don't know



if you have golden account like 50000 TL they give upto 8 % iktisat..

Have a look at http://www.ncmoneyguide.info.



There is a list of all the banks and interest rates. Although the information is date sensitive it is a good place to get an idea of what rates are about and which banks are more generous.



You will need to register (for free) and look at the Bank pages.



I also think that post 3 is making a very important point it is not just about the interest rate your account demands that makes it good but the financial strength and services offered by the bank.
