Is it normal for me to sign a SALES CONTRACT and send it to a North Cyprus Lawyer of who will then carry out the legal process for me as in other countries like TURKEY, I had to give POA and get a document APOSTILED in the UK first and then sent out to the country. Any one have any thought on this. THANKS. ADRIAN. 0034 693 230 904

Do you know the lawyer and did he come well recommended from peop;le other than the estate agent and builder? Who drew up the contract? What do you know about the builder? Who will be getting your contract registered? Who is applying for your ptp? Look at the do's and don'ts when purchasing in the TRNC on the HBPG website, tell your lawyer you wish to follow the procedure they are recommending. Take control and don't be led and you should be ok. Consider buying a resale, rather than off plan

Hi Adrian, I think you are buying from Medview and are using the lawyer that they recommended? You have already broken one of the golden rules for purchasing in TRNC. I urge you to find your own independant lawyer as soon as possible. Nobody should be able to act for you without a Power of Attorney. The Butlers wife
