| I have Windows Media Player and Nero. Neither of them will play any of my DVD's. Message from windows reads......Adjust your display settings and lower resolution and colour, which I did but it still wont play. Nero says that it needs DVD Decoder (MPEG-2 Decoder) plug-ins, I found freedownload but still it wont play. Any answers guys? |

| I guess you are using windows xp ? From vista onwards dvd playback is part of windows functiuonality. With XP you need to add codecs for windows media player or other players that use generic codecs for dvd playback to work. the easiest free solution if you do have windows xp is to just download and install the free media player called VLC. This uses its own inbuilt codecs and can play dvds fine. It can be downloaded from here. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ |
