Please be aware and on your guard

Yesterday (Tuesday) our home on the seaside of Karsiyaka was broken in to between 3 and 5.30pm

They completely wiped us out, not only of material items but jewellery of great sentimental value that had been handed down through generations; to say we are devastated is an understatement,

If anybody is offered any items would they kindly phone Lapta Police

Apple Mac book pro

Toshiba 300d laptop

Western digital and Iomega hard drives

Archos media player

I pod touch

I phone

I pod docking station

Cybertec palm corder (this item is of great sentimental value as it has the last recorded memories of a gentleman from Karsiyaka who sadly passed away last week and we were in the process of burning this to disc for his widow, who obviously is devastated)

Some very dubious characters staying on K5, not the residents!! Wonder if the police would dare look in that direction.

So sorry to hear this and can understand how you must be feeling.

Worse thing is loosing items of sentimental value which if not recovered can never be replaced.

Don't despair though, it is a small island and there is hope that some, if not all these items could be recovered by the police.

Kind regards

Judy

This is awful - keep positive though as it's a small island and these people always get caught in the end!

Too late for Bigwheel I know, but we have a photograph of an alsation, bearing his teeth with a caption underneath that says:

GO ON! BRAKE IN!........ MAKE MY DAY....

We live in a rural location and so far we have been left alone...

Together with the agent, the police are currently at the villa on the corner near the Karsiyaka cemetary. Clearly there has been a break-in.
