I've just spend an interesting couple of minutes reading the thread on forum moderators. I was about to post a (positive) comment, only to discover that the thread had been closed as 'topic addressed'.

You can't do this guys!

If someone asks for an opinion then every member will probably have a slightly different one. Closing the thread after a few responses defeats the purpose of having a forum in the first place.

So, here's my comment that I would've posted in the now closed thread .....

You can never please all of the posters all of the time. As long as Moderators can be seen to be impartial, keep personal feeling out of Forum decisions and are demonstrably sticking to forum rules then they're doing a good job. In my experience on Cyprus44 that does seem to be the case the vast majority of the time.

I have closed this thread which will no doubt get the conspiracy theorists and the bored worked up again but I will explain why.



As a matter of policy it has been decided that the board is not the place to discuss the board and its workings. Having seen other boards not necessarily TRNC ones where this isn't done they quickly get to introspective.
