Mike,

On 9th April there is a boot sale at Alkan Holiday Village, (main coast road near Esentepe).

There always seem to be loads of crime novels up for grabs at 2 or 3 TL a pop....

Or you could come to The Ozankoy Bookshop. We now have over 5,000 second hand books at only 5tl. All sorted into different sections, lots of James Pattersons. We also take the books back in good condition for 2tl. We are open every day except Sunday 9.30 to 4pm.

KAR have a great collection of 2nd hand books. I pay to read them and then return, so as to recycle and help keep the money coming.

Take a drive to Ozankoy bookshop in the village there is parking available. If you go on a Wednesday you can sample the homemade cooking at the Cooks Market from 11am until 2pm. They have many good books as zanky mess 7 said. Kar also have some books they are near the fire station in Girne. Otherwise there is now The Best Sellers book store which opened in February near Lamar in Karakum. Plenty of choice or give all three a visit.

Happy reading

Or invest in a Kindle, since hubby has had his, his nose has been stuck in it when once he would have been doing DIY etc! Thousands of books available for just one click.
