... During her stay at foster carers Missy is be assessd as to temprement etc. She has shown no sign at all of any aggresive behaviour. Her UK (past) owners also confirm that they have never known her to bite anyone/anything. However because the concern has been raised it is felt best that Missy should go to a home where there are no young children. As you all appreciate homes for dogs here are like gold dust - but everyone concerned with Missy is hoping against hope that something will turn up. It was suggested that as KAR had eventually managed to home Steve's other 2 abandoned dogs (which also ended up at KAR) that their new owners be asked to take on Missy as well. To date the only monies offered and/or received towards Missy vets bills/keep has come from kind cyprus44 members - for that Missy and KAR pass on their heartfelt Thanks.. From her previous families (UK/TRNC) - nothing has been offered or received. As i speak Missy is sprawled out in the garden sunning herself.

Hamish, what a lovely picture you paint. My 4 are doing exactly the same thing, the only noise from them is the occasional sigh or snore. Absolutely bliss. I too have learned from others that Missy has a wonderful temprament and is not in the least bit "snappy" I do hope that someone out there is prepared to give her a home and hopefully she won't be treated like a book in a library. As for not hearing from previous owners..........nuff said. Tango1

Thanks Hamish - good to know Missy is still with her foster carer and is happy. How long can that continue though ? What on earth is wrong with her previous owners (those in UK and those in TRNC) who have not contributed a penny to her ongoing care ! Disgusting ! All they have done is pass the buck (or non bucks !) onto someone else - they should be ashamed - both of them. Disgusting ! To top it all from what i read this is the 3rd one from the same family that has been abandoned for someone else to pick up the care and worry and the bills ! Disgusting ! Keep smiling Missy.

Im not sure if you guys are aware but missys previous owner died last year of cancer, he had to return to the uk to have treatment and unfortunately passed away. His son returned to the UK who cared for her after this happened. Just to advise!

I don't think anyone on the BB is unware of what happened to the original owner who sadly died, it is what occured thereafter, that they find hard to come to terms with. Tango1
