Nineteen of us went to Stevie's Bar at Sweet Homes, Tatlisu, yesterday. Have to let everybody know that this is the best sunday lunch we have eaten in the three years we have lived here. Pork, lamb and beef all on offer with yorkshire pud. Apple, horseraddish and mint sauce came without having to ask for it. The service was first class. Well done to everyone

hi normajean, if you are food lovers then please come to Guidos as we start our sunday lunches from subday 12th. Pork with crackling, roast beef etc parsnips and sweed as well as a great deal more. Hope to see you take care and keep eating well Lilli

Guidos is in Alsancak just past the Golden Lady statue on the right hand side of the main road.

hi joandjelly times are from 12.30 until you wish to go, prices are 22ytl for 3 courses but it will be well worth it hope we see you as i love to meet people i speak to take cae lilli

The hillside on main road near lapta (opposite the strange unfinished hotel) does a fantastic sunday lunch. Three courses for about 20tl.

I went to Chimneys bar with my girlfriend this sunday for sunday lunch and i gotta say it was really nice, they re opened recently under new management and they do a real nice sunday lunch, and i did enjoy myself. It has a nice atmosphere and the staff are friendly. The beer is cheap at 4 ytl a bottle and vodka and coke at 4ytl too which is cheaper than anywere else i have been. I think i will be there again this sunday and would recommend chimneys to anybody looking for a decent cheap sunday lunch.

Went to Stevies bar on our last visit, sorry but not impressed. My husband ordered steak medium rare. it was lucky if it had seen the pan for 30 seconds. My salmon steak was overdone and burnt on the bottom. People on tables both sides of us smoking. Was about to complain when we noticed that Stevie himself was smoking whilst delivering food to tables. We will not be going back.

Great pity, as there are not many restaurants to choose from down where we live.

Hi

4 of us went to Stevies last Sunday for lunch

We had a very good lunch and no complaints.



Our friends did go the week before and the meal was

not so good. However they told Steve and he apologised

and said that he would fix it and he did.



We shall be going again. Well worth a visit

Hope your well. when did you go to Chimneys??? I know they had a few probs a few weeks back but think they have sorted it out, should give them another chance cause heard it was good before????
