great result for the biggest club in the world today as wayne rooney scores three and the magic hernandez gets one as man utd come from a half time deficit of two goals down to floor west ham and keep on track for nineteen titles .

I think your boys are going to do it this season... wonder if old red-nose will leave if you get ahead of Liverpool's tally of titles. That will be a big test for whoever replaces him. I didn't see the game today. Notice he is out there talking to the cameras, doing as he is told for once!

LG , i cant see the great man calling it a day just because hes over taken the bin dippers winning nineteen titles to their eighteen .

also he this week said they have got two out of four summer targets wrapped so ,up i cant see the club letting him decide who comes in if hes stepping down .

Vidic should have gone... again, but didn't.. again! Will be interesting to see what they do to Shrek after his swearing into the camera. I guess we can be sure that old red nose will jump in there to his defence. He should be clamping down on him not supporting him. What sort of example does that set to the young supporters?!

Vidic should have walked no doubt ! but as usual different rules to top 4 sides ! Rooney will grow up one day,but fair play to Ryan Giggs the perfect pro goes about his job with class and never a problem to officals, for us nothing less than a win at Bolton next week will do !

Fair play to a team that was utter carp until their first goal went in - they then went on to totally annihilate the world cup winners

Only that Utd were far from their best and looked incapable of scoring until their first goal. Then they played like we know they are capable of and buried the opposition. To be fair things could have been a lot different had the ref had sent of Vidic. Methinks that Vidic would have walked for that tackle if he had been playing for the opposition.

Agreed but that is why these programmes are shown after 9pm !!!!!.

'Shrek's' choice vocabulary went out in the early afternoon. Personally, I was surprised that he was able to string a few words together - his IQ must have grown considerably, well at least into double figures !!

Rooney is really showing himself for the trailer trash he is

He gets millions on top of his salary in sponsorship however can't conduct himself in a fit and proper way

What sort of impression does his tirade portray to the young impressionable players who look up to him ? As a footy coach to a team of 8-9 year olds I know how much they look up to their heros and how they seek to emulate everything their favourite players do on the pitch - the skills the goal celebrations ...

What a role model Rooney makes - sleeps with prozzies , treats his employers and fans disrespectfully , verbally abuses refs at every opportunity etc etc etc

Thankfully Man Utd aren't that popular around our way

I despise everything he and his kind stand for

Yes fair to say i'm not a fan Paul

I'd ban him for bringing the game into disrepute

If you think his behaviour is acceptable read Jim White's little piece in the Daily Telegraph - i've only just done so

He's managed junior teams and in supporting the move to ban him for his tirade he makes some very pertinent points about the way Rooney's actions will be aped by impressionable u12s

Not banned yet he has until tomorrow evening to appeal. The club should also give him an extra ban too. He is a disgrace. Rio Ferdinand has said on tweet "So is swearing going to be banned on the football pitch?" this was more than that he said it right in front of a camera, he knew what he was doing.

HE WAS OUT OF ORDER !!!!!!!, I agree,

but can this subject of Rooney be put into perspective, as there are a lot worse things in football than a few swear words, for example,

Spitting directly in players faces,

Punching, kicking, head butting, elbowing off the ball, all this behaviour is out of order and seen by children of all ages and of course cannot be condoned, however it has been going on since the game of football started.

Indirectly, but still connected to football,

Rape, committed by Football Directors and Players , death by drunk drivers, assaults on members of the public by drunk and or drug fuelled players the list is incomplete but hopefully it has made my point.

Let club and authorities take care of him, and please all you Rooney knockers try a little harder to hide your personal hatred and Jealously towards a very talented footballer and an even greater Club.

Golf and Manchester United Supporter.

the same "fa trick" that puts so much pressure on officals that keeps Vidic on the pitch ! Ryan Giggs has got more class in his little finger than Rooney will ever have ! as i attended the match i was not aware of this incident at first and just assumed it was a get the **** in there ! type of swearing and thought good luck to him nothing wrong with someone who wants to win, but no ! sorry Wayne thats not what anyone needs to see at 2 oclock in the afternoon ! grow up !

Why do you Mancs always think there is a big conspiracy against you?

You are deluded

The point about Giggs is well made He's got class

Pity Rooney and a majority of your fans ( most of whom wouldnt know what the inside of a footy stadium if it bit them on the arse but nevertheless claim to be a ' massive utd fan ) dont take a leaf out of his book

Anyone who thinks Rooney's actions are justifiable seriously needs to re-assess their standards and ask themselves would you be comfortable explaining to say an 8 year old exactly what he said

Most Man United supporters are not from Manchester, that's the proper Manchester team, city that has supporters from Manchester. When Man U are away, there supporters go by bus.

What a load of Tosh about Mancunians !

I was born in "OLD TRAFFORD" and as a young boy I went to watch MUFC playing as it was just up the road. However as a MANCUNIAN I supported MANCHESTER CITY as did all my family and friends and watched them whenever we could. Rooney being from Liverpool (Scouser) is irrelevant to his playing for MUFC. How many people from Manchester play for them anyway ? (or CITY come to that)

Rooneys disgrace is that he thinks he above the law and believes, in his tiny bird brain, that he is untouchable.

An outstanding controller of the ball, he is still a bully who intimidates his opponents and in my H.O. he needs a good smacking. He has the morals of an Ally-cat and yet wishes to be a role model ! He's worse than his ignorant, though clever, GUM - CHEWING manager who berates referees for doing their job, but only when his team loses.

Well, if the 2 match ban goes ahead he will miss the FA Cup Semi Final, not that he has been playing well at all, despite the hat-trick, so won't be that missed even if he doesn't play.

Old red nose was in the press last week saying refs have it in for Manure... all in his game playing, which he is very good at obviously... Vidic gets to stay on for another game when he should have been off. Then they put him in the top 5 as poss Player of the Year!!!! Cheating scrote of the year perhaps.

Kav,

Rooney should have been shown the door when he held the biggest football club in the world to

ransom last year. There is no doubt in my mind that he is a very good player, but no one person is

bigger then the football club.Ferguson,as a manager went down in my estimation, when he allowed

Rooney, and his agent to dictate terms and the deal to stay at United.

Wayne Rooney carries to much baggage, and is a liability, and needs disposing of when the next

window opens. The guy has to much money, and too much time on his hands.I have supported

United all my life, but this guy makes my skin crawl. From the moment he kissed the United badge

at Goodison Park, whilst playing for United,i have always thought that Rooney was one sandwich

short of a picnic.

Why would anyone with any sense at all want to rub their home town supporters noses in it,by

carrying out such a gesture."Once a blue always a blue".Unfortunateley money talks.

So you wouldn't advocate a cheeky bid for Adam Kav?

Think he's on SAF's radar

BTW he doesn't profane into tv camera's, pay grannies for sex or demand £250k pw

Kav,

I support Spurs and no I don't hate Utd, but Vidic is a cheat.. he is forever pulling players down and gets away with it time after time. Even Utd fans can't argue that one.

Good players don't need to cheat.. .take Christiano Rollaroundo as an example. He has fantastic skills and yet he dives all over the place and cheats. He is that good that he doesn't need to, just run rings around the opposition and let the football do the talking. Your current Ronaldo wannabee, Fanni, is another player with good skills but he is such a cheat. Take the Liverpool game when he got injured. He gets up, walks over to the ref to show him the 'gash' on his leg and then 'falls' down and starts crying!

Just to confirm to all of us that know he is a massive cheat... he makes a miraculous recovery the week after and is back playing!

I don't condone cheating regardless of the team, I don't think Spurs have any at the moment. Arse nal do, Utd do.. and a few others of course.

Mess 71,

Unfortunateley, most teams have cheats these days.Dont like it ,and dont agree with it.But i have

to say that the tackle by Carragher the other week at Anfield was a disgrace, and he (Carragher)

should have walked. Also,as i recall "Fanni" missed the next game through injury,

Paul.

The Manchester United ace was initially dropped as the face of Coke Zero in September after it was revealed he cheated on wife Coleen with hooker Jenny Thompson.

But now the drinks giant has confirmed the 25-year-old England striker's contract — worth around £600,000 a year — will not be renewed.

Man U the club of " plastic supporters" 90% have never been in the ground. The easiest thing in the world is to attach your self to a football club that is no where near your origins or current place of residence and call yourself a supporter, and there are thousands of them. As for defaming Manchester, well it's another ignorance thing, but keep sending the food parcels as they come in handy for feeding the whippets.

Even the most vociferous anti-Man U pundit will admit that Man U are the best team at winning games when playing below par...

It's the don't give up and we will score more goals than you mentality that AF instils in the team.

Somehow, when other teams are running out of puff, Man U sense the drop in energy levels and pounce. It makes for exciting games and super last 5 minutes..
