Tracey. For a liner pool you really do not want to be useing chlorine, chlorine bleaches the vinyl after some time. You would be much better useing a non chlorine product.

Who mentioned chlorine? Tracy , for unbiased advice give Vaughan(Octopus Pools) a call 0533 845 8494, or try the SIBA shop (on the Bellapais traffic lights).

Message 3 Tablets that are sold in north cyprus for cleaning pools are chlorine tablets. Speaking from experience of having a liner pool when i was in england, the chlorine that we used to use bleached the liner, the bottom of the pool became 50% lighter that the sides. There are many non chlorine products in the market place .Some expensive and some not so expensive.

Never put chlorine tablets, chlorine or acid granules into a liner pool, only put liquids in, all can be purchased here. An Aligator system is also okay for your liner pool, isn't it Vaughan.

The Aligator system is very effective and only uses a very small amount of chlorine, about the same amount as in tap water in UK, i.e. less than 1ppm. http://www.aligator.co.uk

Jayne, have emailed you seperately. We have a tablet 'stack' for chlorine tablets. The pool water goes through it and 'melts' the tablets and the liquid goes into the pool. Nurettin supplied and fitted the 'stack'.
