AJ, I know you closed this to stop another TV-wars outburst from emanating but it would have been good to have a link to the thread mentioned wherein lay the solution to Vaughan's problem... that way anyone looking at it might also have benefited from the effective advice given without trawling through loads of dross.

Just recently threads are being closed in a manner which renders them useless when they could be helpful with a little thought.

well said, Groucho. On the new Kulaksiz 5 thread moderators have been getting rid of off-topic posts rather than closing down a useful thread.
