I know it is available here because Patricia Jordan refers to Lemon Grass in her books. I have asked at a few garden centres but they did not have any. Citronella comes from lemon grass and I am hoping that a few pots on the terraces etc will help to deter the mosquitoes! If not it is a wonderful addition to certain recipes!

We live in Esentepe and have one in the front garden bought from Gardens of Babel. If you get stuck and live this way your welcome to a cutting!

It is always available on the South, just put the stalks in a jar of water & they will soon root you can then plant them out.
