Surely not I just cannot believe this it is so new. Well i think that is awful for N. Cyprus it is such a shame huge investment to bring tourists to TRNC provide jobs etc it is back to this flight problem how damaging this has been for the Island. I think it is very sad for this to happen. How about the Colony, Rocks & Savoy, they are surviving are they not? It seemed to be a lovely hotel & so new.

| Some say the Colony, Rocks and Savoy are Mafia money laundering establishments that would still make a mint if there were no tourists, others say they are ran by Vicars with a few tarts mincing about, giving backhanders and other services, however one must not believe all what one hears on the NC grapevine. | I cant believe the owner of Cratos has taken a proverbial flyer and risked so much on the TRNC aviation industry. It dont take a genius to tell you that the plan was flawed. No doubt we will read in this weeks Cyprus Today that he has asked the Government for help.....like everyone else. Michael |

If the "exclusive" on the front of the Star last weeks is to be believed then TRNC government money is already invested in The Cratos. I always think it resembles a prison from the outside with 4 watch towers on each corner. Not the most preposessing piece of architecture I've ever seen. Yet again, according to the Star, the Italian Restaraunt is closing or has closed because Port Cratos has never been in action properly and the staff from the "English Pub" have been laid off. I stress that all the information was in The Star paper last week but I actually know nothing more than anyone else!! Tango1

Ready-made new prison though, so the architect had dual purpose in mind.. they'll only need to remove the gaudy trappings, put bars on the windows and improve the nosh!

3rd hand rumors mixed with imagination and negative energy makes a strong cocktail, as the airport is still open in KKTC its still possible for everyone to leave "the devils island" KKTC need educated people with hands on attitude and positive attitude, the stay here as visitors gets also more enjoyable.

come on where is someone from Cratos making a statement. Both CT and The Star carried the news, so two April fools Day jokes, or two truths. Only Messrs Cratos can say. The rest is c vonjecture. Interesting though. someone thought today that maybe the one who wishes to build the clepatra could buy Cratos and stick Cleo up the front of the building. Would solve some problems. The thought was not mine, by the way.

why would they sell up, having spent so much money building the place ?/ with direct flights iminent, millions being pumped into the system to attract tourists and the legal system reform just round the corner - surely its just a matter of time before the people start flooding in........... And good luck to them i say......

Damn, just as I was going to make an offer. Can't go wrong I'm told. The laws the same as in England, my advocate would look after my interests, the courts would uphold my rights, the government welcomes expats wishing to invest, what could possibly go wrong?
