If its a coastal destination try SW France near the border with Spain Best weather and some great beaches - but other things to do inc trips into Pyrennes and the spectacular Cathar castles You can get cheap flights to Carcassonne Perpignan and even Gerona in Spain ( its only 40 mins away )

Depends what you want. If you want peace, beautiful countryside, no ruddy British tourists, try the Gers Department in south west france. Force yourself to speak French, as very few locals speak English. It's fantastic!

Got to agree Martin. I have only been to Guernsey once, but I thought it was terrific. Pity I couldn't live there!

Am I getting this? You are new to this, North Cyprus Forum. You live in London. Yet you ask for recommendations of where to visit in France.
