| There she stood in the doorway; Welcome to the Altinkaya Holiday Village Such a lovely place Such a lovely face Plenty of room at the Altinkaya Holiday Village Any time of year You can find it here So I called up the Captain, 'Please bring me my wine' He said, 'We haven't had that spirit here since nineteen sixty nine' And still those voices are calling from far away, Wake you up in the middle of the night Just to hear them say... Mirrors on the ceiling, The pink champagne on ice And she said 'We are all just prisoners here, of our own device' And in the master's chambers, They gathered for the feast They stab it with their steely knives, But they just can't kill the beast Last thing I remember, I was Running for the door I had to find the passage back To the place I was before 'Relax,' said the night man, 'We are programmed to receive. You can check-out any time you like, But you can never leave!' Lem Apologies to the Eagles "Hotel California |

| We have stayed at the Altinkaya - wouldn't go back though - there are many other hotels offering great deals - we stayed at The Malpas - it's ok - we had a standard room - couldn't grumble really at the cost!!! |

| Our first stay was also at the Altinkaya in the older bungalows. Basic but OK, believe they have been upgraded recently. Pool area on hotel side really nice. Staff friendly and the hotel itself is in a good location to access local shops, town, the harbour and Bellapais. Good place to start! Enjoy yourself. Wish I was going again.....roll on next May! | Thanks everyone for the feedback. From what you've all said it sounds pretty good. It's made me look forward to the HOMO (Holiday On My Own) a bit more. Colin |
