Well i'm back, living in Lapta Baspinar with Johnny Lee.........



Who can reccomend the best place for sunday lunch.....



two criteria:



no bleedin 3rd rate kareoke singer



not too expensive (have spent 98% of my money on women and drink - and wasted the rest....)

Seles in the Old Town in Girne then The Red Lion in Alsancak. I can see this thread is going to run and run!!!. Al Nasheen is OK, but (1) they don't know how to make Egg Mayonaise properly (2) they can't make a decent cheesecake either unfortunately.

For five years now, my mate and myself have been going to various restaurants for Sunday Lunch EVERY SUNDAY

We have found that Mambo give the most quality/quantity at very reasonable prices. You must book by Friday though. I'm there this Sunday , again and would love you bring your Thai girls with you !!!! LOL

Mambo for me as well, their garlic mushrooms to start with are really good. one word of advise, if you like your beef rare tell them when you book.

Red Lion Alcansac Nick baby .....if you are a veg lover then you will have an orgasm !! The prawn starters are delicious !! Roast pork , roast beef , yorkshires pud , parsnips,mash ,cabbage,peas and carrots and brussels !! And of course gravy !!

Guidos or JK's in Lapta do brilliant Sunday lunch but be prepared to eat a lot.
