| Would anyone know if it is a cheaper to bring a laptop out to the north or buy the package there. We are out for good next April. |

| I would guess it wopuld be cheaper in the Uk and take it over with you. |

| It is possible that if this is a new item when brought to TRNC you may be charged duty on it whether from UK or RoC. So please be aware. |

| dont forget to claim back the VAT. As you can reclaim VAT on everything being exported. I have been doing it for 22 years. Saved a mint especially on the wifes clothes |

| Just take it out the wrapper use it a couple of times and twist the cable,they cant know if its new or not |

| Laptops here will probably be no good as they have turkish windows installed and normally a turkish keyboard. Definitely buy one from the UK |

| ataturk, When you nuy a computer here, Laptop or Desktop, it doesn't come automatically pre loaded with any operating system. So you get to choose your own. But be aware that your copy of XP, or Vista is likely to be an illegal copy. The keyboard is usually Turkish, but your operating system will know/can be told that. All the characters on a UK or US keyboard are still available, just maybe in a different position. You soon learn to adapt. |
