This is just an observation I have made. These are my own comments entirely I have not been prompted by anybody else. Just so you all know, before you start a witch-hunt to occupy yourselves.

It seems only fair to comment on the fact that Cyprus44.com will let people slander other peoples business out of jealously and greed as somebody is more successful/works harder and is able to offer a better service.

Just because you tell somebody jump doesn't mean they should ask you how high, its not the days of the Raj anymore people. If you haven’t noticed we have moved on in history and in the way treat people. You may have possibly in some cases have even grown up from schoolboy back stabbing as well, but then again maybe not as some of the comments prove.

Just because you employ a Gardener/Cleaner, maybe even have a live in housekeeper. This still does not give you right to post, fictional comments on this discussion board to fill your time between trips to the ‘Local’.

Sorry j

Hope that the people who need to hear this, actually hear it. Will they? Thanks for stating what many of us feel. encouragement is always the best way to get people to do things nicely - so why not all try it for a week at least.

Or was that another pig that flew by the window?

I agree with you entirely message 1,these people have nothing to do but slag others off, they get their kicks out of running people down. if all the business.s closed down, where would you shop, eat, drink,be entertained? you,d soon be moaning then.give these people a chance, they are doing a service for you

A life coaching tenet is, 'People do the best they can with the resources available to them'. Therefore... How resourceful are these people? I wish you well. John

I agree entirely with message 1. The trouble is how to balance free speech against the rights of individuals. The other day I deleted a post waiting for approval because it was calling someone a swindler and a mafia. That was a clear case but how do you deal with a statement which contains facts and we as moderators are not able to very or deny? People must carry the responsibility themselves and here anonimity poses a real problem.

So the answer is that everybody must be vigilous and criticize those who take such liberties.

Well I am glad some people agree to the comments I made. Notice that none of the out spoken members of the forum have said anything.

Anyway good evening to you all

So, Mr 'Eric The Viking', the great email address flasher, which side of the fence do you think I belong?

Outspoken, controversial, odious, obnoxious, critical, drunk; I plead guilty to all charges!

There, you have a reply to your question in Msg 9!

Now, I wonder what else did the Vikings do for Britain apart from rape, pillage, plunder and slaughter? I know, they created a community forum where everyone was at peace with one and all!

Re msg 1: What a strange post. You mention slander, jealously and greed then relate these Biblical sins to somebody who you claim has not worked as hard, has not provided a better service and has not been more successful. Then you go on to say when somebody tells you to jump they should not ask you " how high. " You then go on and mention "The Raj" which incidentually helped to made Great Britain GREAT!! You then make the splendid observation (!!) That now is not the days of " the Raj " anymore. You then give the impression that anyone who employes a gardener, cleaner and possibly a live in Housekeeper, cannot post on Cyprus 44 a fictional or other wise comment during their trips to "The Local." ps:The "Sorry j" ending Clearly was a coded message.Very strange!!

It doesn't seem to matter how much one tries to keep the party polite (and to do away from the harsh criticism in the papers this week|) just take a look at what I am on messages 18 and 19 in the posting on the House of Lords meeting. what chance a future of love and understanding when we are judged by standards we don't understand by people who don't know us? I don't envy the leaders trying to sort out the harsh emotions of many of thepeople they represent. Such a shame.

I am glad to see that cyberbullying is frowned upon in this forum and can I say we must all be vigilant in dealing with it with the contempt it deserves. We encourage kids to whistle blow as we must also name and shame . I came to this forum to seek support and advice my initial experience was very upsetting but is now dealt with. Thankyou to those who have given open constructive advice.

If there is a subject I'm not interested in - I don't go in there. If there are comments I don't agree with I will either comment, or ignore, and go and look somewhere else.

In any forum there will always be subjects, posts, and replies that you don't always agree with!

Just get on with life................

Glad to hear from you Chriswife. for me the purpose of this forum is to help and maybe to question, but not to insult or be insulted and create hatred, misunderstanding and malice. and good to hear you have come through. I have several friends who have completely turned their back onthe forum because of the vitriolic comments by the few. Such a shame, as they are people with hearts who could help others through the forum.

Chriswife.

Best advice i could offer you is to not allow the cyber bullies to break you or bother you.

There is a clique here we all know.

Soon you will see who they are.

Turn a blind eye to them.

They really will go away.

Enjoy your postings chriswife, ignore the negativity and hidden or blank IDs,check there profiles, youll know who is real or fake,to a certain extent.

Do you feel like you're auditioning for the sequel to "Mean Girls"? Have you had it up to here with the gossip and put-downs? Are you tired of following the dress code of your group but think you'll be dropped if you don't?

Are you holding back on approaching someone you'd like to be friends with because you think she's in a group that's out of your league? Are you concerned about whether you'll still be included this year at school or whether you'll feel like an outcast — or worse, be picked on?

Whether you're on the outside looking in or the inside wanting out, it can help to know what makes cliques tick.

Thank you for all your constructive comments. it has been very useful in seeing who can actually construct a sentence that does not involve any malice towards anybody.

Somebody mentioned about what side of the fence I sit on. Well in all fairness I sit on whatever side of the fence I feel is appropriate at the time, why draw boundaries as it restricts your outlook on life.

In regards to this forum, there is some very useful information that is available from a few individuals some of the others do talk fair amount of waffle.

In regards to comment about my handle on here, the British have been just as bad as the Vikings so again I don’t know where you were trying to go with that one.

Again I see that none of the 'Haters' have commented, as they are not able to form a constructive opinion to this chat.

If you feel as I have been outspoken I will let you know when I am in the TRNC next and I will happily meet with you for a coffee to talk about our differences in opinion

There don't you all feel better. LIfe is too short and I am long in the tooth for grudges. People are people and if we were all the same, we would all get bored. Just be different but be nice with it.

Mr Eric the Viking

Hej, I'm no doubt the person you're refering too! I wonder why so many beautiful girls from Scandinavia seek out foreign men! Rhetorical, you've answered the question!
