Been to Valley View Restaurant today...just past Acapulco. It has changed hands and the food was absolutely excellent. Best variety of mezes we have had in a long long time....some very different. Really good salads...and the main courses were sooooo good. Kleftico, with potatoes cooked in the juices...again, best I have had in ages. Price very good for what we had.....6 of us....250 lira, with drinks, complimentary coffees and brandies....and fruit. In my view on a par with Archway.....service excellent too. Give it a go. It is a lovely setting also, looking out to the sea......which was a bit choppy today....What is really good also is that you can either chose a full meal with meze or just the main...not many places offer that. Found it difficult to find anything to criticise...owner came out to greet us.....they are obviously trying hard to make it a good experience....and it was.

have to agree about the views out the back - not s good out the front - the owners regularly dump their shite over the road....



Food ok - but the "tourist prices" way to high for me....



Overall a neg nick 6/10.......

Yes judyr it is on the left...towards Esentepe....and as I said in my original message...different owners and good value for money.....and not aimed at just tourists but locals as well, in fact most of the people there were Turkish or Cypriots and that says it all really about quality and value.

food ok for local resturant - but prices too high, IMHO (there is better and cheaper - tanners just one example)....



you can bet there is a separate menu with lower prices for the locals.....



And what the new owners going to do about all the rubbish out the front? - leave it i assume...........

Well NN, yes that is your HO.........I don't intend to get into a debate about it...we have also used Tanners..we live here all the time,....my comments were about Valley View...but in MY HO Tanners is a different experience all together anyway.



I must be blind obviously as I never noticed rubbish out the front.......more interested in the meal, which IMHO was much improved from the previous owners......



But, thanks NN for helping to keep the post at the top....hope you had a better meal today in North Cyprus.
