Thinking of bringing over a 3 year old 4x4 vehicle - apart from the drive/fuel / grotty ferry etc if I bring it over myself, what are the key advantages of sending it by container (and what sort of costs would be involved?).

Hi Jonsey,



There are advantages for sending Vehicles by containers or transporters including the drive etc. It also allows you not to put unnecessary mileage on your vehicle, the security of it being part of a consignment so fully documented and insured if insurance is also taken, plus the comfort of being able to meet your car in TRNC rather that having to live in it to get there. Also, if you aren't driving it there is no wear on the vehicle.
