Has all the fuss died down now and do we not need to worry anymore? Or, I have an oblong plate that meets all the requirements in terms of letter size and spacing, however, mine spans 2 rows - 2 letters on row 1, 3 numbers on row 2. Am I illegal? I heard a few days ago that the government plan to bring in another law regarding plates later this year so that person was saying - don't bother with the current one. I'm very confused, what should I do?

Swap yours with those from a Polis car, then see what the fastest speed you can do past a camera;)

The Star paper carried a fairly clear picture, but I must admit that I am not too sure. I have a big gap between the letters and the numbers, but I am fairly sure that you CANNOT have in two rows as they want to be able to photograph with certainty. But I am not an expert. I had heard the goverbnment is talking of bringing in a REQUEST for us all to have metal plates so we would all have to change again. I get the impression that the police are laying off it all a bit as it does not seem clear what the government really wants from them. Does anyone else know if two rows are allowed?

Perhaps no one else is clear on this issue either??!! Maybe the only answer, as suggested by someone else on another thread last week, is to visit the police station yourself to make sure!

PLAKA NASIL OLMALI?

(tak)
