I tried to get some for my petrol strimmer all along the coastal road aound Girne last year without success. In the end I got a spool from Polywater at Strovolos near the Metro supermarket on the road to Larnaca. If you can't find it locally and you travel over to the RoC the number is 0035799606917.

Got mine from e-spares in the Uk they post it out, ordered spools and covers last time for my strimmer to make postage cost more effective

Do you mean the normal nylon type strimmer wire, in different guages, If so it's in lots of places, just try the yapi markets,



I got mine yesterday from the Yapi Market in Lapta, almost next door to Bektash. all different guages, best to take a sample with you, (or the strimmer).
