Remember its an afternoon market, from 1pm till 4ish. Had 3 people turn up in the morning (early) last week !!!



Lots of new stalls and some of the other stall-holders who were on holiday , will be back.

We can probably squeeze a couple more stalls in, if you let us know today.

Yes, please come along and support this relatively new market. Acmenya provide some lovely food, there are lots of stalls to look at, there's a great atmosphere, and you have the choice of sitting inside or outside, when you want a rest and a cup/glass of something.

Come to Alsancak and to the Iron Lady turn off. After turning off the main road at the Iron Lady, take the first left, which is sign posted to Riverside Holiday complex and British Academy School. Go up there a litle way and you will see a Thai Restaurant called The Silk Way on the right hand side, and then just passed there is Acmenya on the right hand side. There is Acmenya Car Hire, then the restaurant. We have asked them to put a sign down at the Iron Lady, but no luck so far. Do come along though, as it really is a nice place for a market.

Iron lady ???? Wasn't that Maggie Thatcher ??? Its definately not her.!!!



I've always called it the Golden Lady Monument.....(just in case people look for a statue of Maggie) Lol.

Yes Dawn, you're right, it's the Golden Lady, but she could well be made of iron, and yes of course it was Margaret Thatcher.



Pippie, we have asked for them to put a sign at the Golden Lady, perhaps this week they will, or maybe they are still looking for the Iron Lady!!!!
