dont think so but they sell then in a shop on the other side just off ledra st

Bugsy is right. The shop is down one of the side streets. You can just about see the shop sign from the main high street and i think there is a small sign pointing the way too.

I remembered seeing your post. I happened to be in Ayakkabi Dunyasi shoe shop in Lefkosa and saw Birkenstock sandals in there they had about 50 pairs all different colours and they were 55 tl which is about 20 sterling. They were definitely original.

Ayakkabi Dunyasi is along the road where metropol supermarket is, if you dont know where that is message me back and i'll give you directions
