OK the cats out of the bag - Garry Monger's missus and Garry Monger's Mum, Flo Monger's new restaurant will be opening shortly in Asunjack.........

"Faggots and Pays" will sell traditional "black country" tucker, with generous "monger sized" portions - and absolutey no kebabs whatsoever......

The best seller is likely to be roast pork sandwiches on crusty bread with monger special recipe gravy and stuffing - as many of you will know Mrs M and Flo used to own the Pork sandwich shop in Quarry Bank high St for several years and people used to travel for miles to taste their wares...

Also on sale will be Flo's famous bread puddin, groaty puddin' , tradiional black country "italian" pizza, to name but a few...

And of course, the best sunday lunch you've ever tasted........... -

Opening day will see Ting and Tong do their musical tribute to the "cheeky girls" - but of course, ting and tong are better singers and thinner (and a dam sight better looking....)

And don't forget the Fagots and Pays unique guarantee:

"if you are not 100% happy with your tucker - hand it back to Garry Monger's missus and she'll eat it............"

You can't say fairer than that.....

What is a "faggot shop"?

Careful!

Would that be The Crooked House in Himley? or perhaps The Vine in Brierley Hill?

When I left the uk Bathams couldnt supply demand and you had to get to the pub for opening on a Sunday to get a pint. The Bell in Trysull was good too.

How long did you spend in Thailand? Chasing the the pink Lira and opening a gay bar/restaurant may work, 'faggots and pays', they normally do as they are cash rich!
