Bells in Karaoglaoglu is the best place. They do Veggie mince, veggie sausages and burgers, and quorn pieces. About 15tl per bag or packet.

Smity, Have you explained the Cypriot Vegetarian Option... which is basically eat the same as everyone else but spit out the meat..... Only joking - I think Our daughter is vegetarian and we have enjoyed developing lots of very tasty vegetarian meals, we don't buy veggie meat substitutes as they are largely 'pants'.... and she prefers not to eat them. If you want some great recipes just ask... we were surprised at how lovely they are and have taken to eating them regularly even when she's not here. It's healthy to de-tox now and again.

Being obedient to a strict diet must be very hard indeed at such a young age. Good luck to him.

I'm a vegetarian for the last 50 years. Check out the home cooking of Cyprus. Many dishes made in the home are veggie. Forget the restaurant food, go to the villages, they will love to show you the local dishes, mostly veggie
