‘We discussed in detail the topics that will need to be taken up before June’ said the President and added that they listened to what Mr. Downer had to say regarding the tripartite meeting that will be held in the second half of June and put forwards their own views.

‘Our aim is to find a permanent solution that will enable the people of the TRNC to live on this lands with honor; therefore we are evaluating all possibilities’ said the President.

Explaining that time was beginning to make itself felt with every passing day, President Eroglu said that with the passing time his belief in finding a solution was lessening.

The President also announced that the Special representatives had almost reached an agreement on the international agreements adding that the details would be finalized within the coming days.

A nice little jolly when you can get it. A meeting here or there, a fine luncheon or dinner, a flight to Switzerland, USA, Den Haag, Strasbourg or wherever, a 5* Hotel, wife or mistress on hand etc, etc.

Why agree on anything? Taxpayer picks up the tab!
