| The general concensous is, Dont bother !!! unless a classic car 25 years or older,You may just as well drop your pants and bend over! Use the search box at the top of this page and You'll find no end of horror stories. |

| I totally agree. it is an abosolute nightmare. They just think of a number. They do not apply their own rules. We returned our car to the Uk when they wanted 100 per cent of its UK Glasses value in import duty. Do not believe anything about the duty being 40.04 per cent. You will typically pay as much as the car is worth in the UK or even more |

| its been said already and many old posts agree - cheaper t buy in the trnc... many disgruntled brits selling up and going home - so bargains to be had if you haggle hard.......... |
