A desperate plea for help. Owner going back to the UK and has been trying to find a new home for his pet dog Banjo. He is approximately 4 years old and very affectionate in fact he is one lovely dog. This request is on behalf of my neighbour who will be leaving Cyprus in 10 days. I would have personally given the dog a home if I lived here permanently. Photo upon request.

Still looking far a home for Banjo, he is best described as a hunting type dog, he is reddish brown and a lovely companion. Owner leaving for the UK in 8 days time, please if anyone could help and give him a home, its all so sad for animals here. If we can't find a home he is to take one last visit to the vets in 7 days time. 05338406791.

Have you had any luck yet and if not, maybe you should speak to KAR before you decide on 'one last visit to the vets' as they may be able to help.

What Vet here will put a perfectly healthy dog down? I don't know of one.

Still trying to find a home, Kar have more than enough dogs to cope with. The vet and any vet knows its unethical but leaving a dog to stave on the streets is surely worse. I'm only trying to help find him a home so if anyone can help please only reply with a positive responce.

mess 8 - but you don't know their circumstances........

if you've been duped out of your life savings and are going home with your tail between your legs - you may not have the funds to pay for animal quarantine...

sad but true......

Msg 8, why don't you do the "right thing" and take the dog on yourself. You have no idea of the circumstances,

you also have to remember people here tend to give KAR animals a better life while they can, but unfortunately circumstances do prevail and I'm sure the people involved are feeling bad already without your preaching.

Unfortunately its all over for the faithful companion and the owner is about to return to the UK depressed and skint, but not until the sand fly fever he has improves, I think it's a leaving present!! It appears the Jewell of the Med turned into the Lead of the Med in this case but thank you for asking.
