Help ! I have lost Fox Series !!

Fox Series appears to have scrambled and despite doing a complete search I have been unable to find the new channel. Can anyone point me in the right direction ?? Thanks in advance.

Ours has done same but think we found it in Arabic on FOX (capitals) it doesn't say series but same progs seem to be on there.

Looked on the Fox website and new frequency is given as 11296/Horizontal/27500. Have tried retuning on this frequency but still no sign of it.



Totally 'foxed' !!

Got the new frequency !!!!!!!!!!!!!



Done an 'Auto Scan' twice.



Been through all channels, twice.



FOX (series is missing from the title) - Been into the 'Channel installation' sytem - Found the frequency - And 'Yes' it is still tuning to the old freq.



And sod me, I cannot find out how to change the frequency manually - ANYONE GOT ANY IDEA'S ?????



Please help, my life in danger. - Like the above - wife missing Materchef Aussieland

What I don't understand is that fact that it disappeared for a week, then it came back for a couple of days but with Arabic speech only, then for a few days it was fine, then suddenly two days ago it went again. We have Free to View TV only, so I would have thought we were OK.



AND ANOTHER THING, we have watched all the tennis on Al Jazeera, every single match from Monte Carlo with English commentary. The final was in Arabic and the commentator was like a flea on speed - completely manic, the man was a nutter!!

Its had a scrolling message on the bottom of the screen for a few weeks, saying that they would be moving FOX Series over to a new permanent frequency as FOX, and FOX Movies will also be moving as well soon. The frequencies are:



Frequency 11296

Polarization H

Symbol Rate 27500

FEC 5/6



Try putting them in manually, by going to add new channel, then put in the data above and do a search for that frequency. That always works on our system.

I have a Next 2000 FTA set top box. Have just found FOX under the name HEYA TV on channel 756. I looked for channels stored under Freq 11296/H/27500 - none of them were titled FOX but I just checked them all and eventually found it under HEYA TV.

If you have searched and cannot find. Then list the channels alphabetically (F). Look for FOX not fox series.there may be more than one but it should appear.

This worked for me, though it's a bit drastic and takes some time:

Go to Menu - Config - Clear data.

Once you've got through all the warnings and cleared it, go to Installation - Auto Scan - Multi Sat Scan (or just Scan if you can only receive one satellite).

Go and make dinner. By the time you've eaten it should have finished.

Go to Channel Manager and Sort alphabetically. It should be there as FOX. It's showing on the list as scrambled, but I'm getting a perfect signal with no CA card. The STB is an old Botech (cheap Turkish). The software was last updated in 2007. Those with better boxes should have no problems.

If this doesn't work for you, I suggest you speak to the Iceman.

BTW, Masterchef Australia has been REALLY good over the last week or so.

Have just managed to find it, was unable to do it with Auto Search though.

On my box, XPS..

Select...

1. - MENU

2. - INSTALLATION

3. - MANUAL SEARCH

4. - TYPE IN FREQUENCY etc (where asked)

5. - SCAN ALL CHANNELS (green button on XPS Box)

6. - SCROLL THROUGH SELECTED CHANNELS FOR FOX, WHICH IS OLD FOX SERIES. (not scrambled, FTA)

You will have to select English, via language button.

7. - SAVE TO FAVORITES.

Job done
