We are moving (driving) to TRNC soon, and while be bring some of our stuff in our Ford Transit. The van reg. is 2002, and I have just read on an earlier post that they ONLY cars upto 5 years old allowed in. Does this ruling apply to vans also.

How long have you owned the van? If it were a car and you had owned it (registered in your name in the log book)for over 5 years you could import it vans I don't know make sure you have 12 months tax and then the car(don't know about vans) can stay in the country without the duty being paid for the 12 period Use the search bar at the top it may help on vans

As Yorgozlu says, up to 12 years old is allowed but you have to register it for personal use. I did exactly this a few years ago. Compass
