What a great day out in Northern Cyprus

This week We went with Cyprus-active on a Jeep Safari in the mountains above Lapta and Karsiaka.

What a fantastic time!!!!

Beautiful views of the coast and mountains,

Stops in a mountain restaurant for coffee,and in a delightful place for lunch.

Informative and interesting chats by experienced guides,about flora,history.

A visit to a Turkish tank,and then afternoon visiting Mavi Kosk,that is not to be missed.



Thank you Richard and Amy.....a day to remember !!!!!

It is a full day and they will meet you in Girne if you live the other side of Lapta. It cost 65YTL

We did this Safari last year and it was a fabulous day out. Amy and Richard do a very good job of researching places to go, and it was a very relaxed schedule with plenty to do and see. We are East of Girne and they picked us up from our door for an extra 5 YTL each - bargain.



We enjoyed it so much that we have booked again for our next visit in May (7 sleeps away) and this time we will be doing the Village day which incorporates trips to traditional village craftsmen and a lunch to round it off.



Can't recommend this enough - it is a must do !!

100% agree with everything said! A fabulous day with two great people who have put so much in to make this trip special. If you want to see and learn about Northern Cyprus, this is a must do trip.

These trips look really good and interesting..... i think I will be going on a couple when I next visit Kyrenia. Where is the pick up point in Kyrenia?

Hi Rosa7, The pick up points are at lemar just off the big roundabout or Astro then we stop at a number of places going west. However if you are east of Girne and dont have transport to get in to town, we can arrange pick up depending on numbers. Please contact us for details.
