large jam jars wanted

Does anyone have any large jam jars that they do not want ???? ideally the type that tomato paste or pickles come in - 720 g ????



I am starting to make jams and pickles and have run out of the jars that I had . If anyone has any of these I would be grateful - I am in the Alsancak area and work in Kyrenia.

Hi Rachel, 1001 had various sizes of jars earlier this year. They were a reasonable price as ell - around 1TL each if I remember correctly. You need some well trained neighbours to save their jars and make sure those you give "tasters" to return their empties

We have some you might find useful. himself has been saving up to make marmalade, but some of those jars are just too big. am prepared to have a hunt. how many do you want and where can \I deliver them?????



By the way one thing that is piling up is those round yoghurt jars with plastic lids. Any good to yuou, or anyone else for that matter.

I work in Kyrenia at Magic style hair salon - next to Mr Pound - on Mon, Wed and Fri between 9 am - 4 pm - if thats any good - or I can arrange to collect.

If it is the 1kilo (2lb) jars you are looking for, we have a good supply that you can have. I am at the Craft and Farmers Market, Karaoglanoglu every Friday and arrive there at 9am to set up my organic farm stall. I can bring the jars along for you.

so how many do you want. I will have a sort and bring them into your salon if I can, but in the meantime do you want from Kambylikid as well? Don't want to overload you.

anyway, haven't looked yet, but will do so. My husband says he intends to make marmalade later but we use the smaller jars.

have saorted out a dozen which I think are the size you want. As to weight it depends on content doesn't it. So 720gm means nothing to my jars!
