Hi, Im posting this on behalf of my friend. They are looking to buy a property. They would prefer something in Lefkosa but it can be in Dogankoy, central Girne, Bogaz but not far from the Lefkosa round about. The budget is 65,000stg in cash. The property must have the PRE/74 deed ready, water and electric connected, VAT paid so no more other expenses. Please email the details. Thanks in advance.

the only thing you could buy would be a flat, and I doubt there are any worth buying from that date - I could be wrong. But if Turkish title, I believe the government is unwilling to give those to yabanci. hence the question as to nationality. so you have a potential double problem.

Studio (mess 4) It does make a difference because if your friend is not Turkish Cypriot he/she will need Permission to Purchase, which can take years so he/she will not be able to get the deeds when he pays his money! Cash makes no difference what so ever and:- NO KOCAN NO MONEY is the only way forward! I wish your "Friend" Good Luck!

Have one if you put another £90K with it Studio. There was an older turkish property advertised on here, 44 site, somewhere near the Bogas area which was priced around that range a couple of months ago.

don't forget the government taxes on top! £65,000 won't be enough to cover everything, and bear in mind that it appears that pre 1974 property is inclined to cost more, for obv ious reasons. Happy hunting.
