Scales Wanted On Loan to Weigh luggage

HI Has anyone got any type of Scales whether it be the hook type or stand on, as my family are moving to Thailand to live and have to send their luggage on ahead, but other than buying scales just for a few days, I thought of the good people on the forum who might have some in a cupboard that they will not want to use for about a week tops, I would be grateful.

I did come across (I know shame on me) in the Telegraph home supplement priced at £12.95 a 'new compact luggage scale now with integral tape measure' It has a traditional anologue display up to 35 kgs or 77 lbs. Look at http://www.telegraphhome.co.uk/autumn. Hope this helps - I'm going to buy one myself.

If that offer still available to borrow your scales for a few days that will be good, as my friends ones will only be available on Sunday and just for a couple of days as she has to take them back on Tuesday, so I will need to borrow just from Tuesday for a few days a week the latest, as they are flying in 10 days the minute they have finished with them I will of course bring them back to you, Many thanks
