Contact KAR, they'll have all the up to date info, but after the dog show, expect they're really busy this weekend!

I would look on the net - I think there is some agency near me in Staines - petflights? something like that - you may have to have your animal flown into Greek side and drive it through - but the net is the source of most things...........

No new answers maybe you need to refer to your earlier thread, maybe it's because it's Easter? http://www.cyprus44.com/forums/56449.asp

The only way to Ercan is Turkish Airlines.

Firstly I went to Turkish Airlines web site chose a suitable flight. I then phoned T/Airlines office on Manchester Airport (Olympic House) 441614895290.

They booked the dog on the flight, giving me a booking reference number. I then returned to the web site and and confirmed our own flight.

Turkish Airlines were wonderful. I was allowed to take scruff into the

terminal on lead not in the kennel. Went to the Turkish Airlines Customer service desk where I paid my excess baggage fee for Scruff (£89.00 – Depends on size of the carry Kennel and the weight of your dog) The guy from behind the desk then took me to the front of the queue at check in – I am told sometimes they weigh your dog here – They did not weight Scruff

I then kept him with me until an hour before take off when he had to be caged and then the baggage handlers collected him

On boarding the plane I asked if Scruff (showed the staff picture in pet passport) was loaded, They rang to the luggage handlers and said he was been loaded now – Pointed out of the window and there he was just been loaded onto the plane

Landed at Istanbul – Transferred planes – again on boarding asking if Scruff had been loaded – same procedure as at Manchester

At Ercan Scruff arrived on the carousel with the first lot of luggage safe

& sound looking alert & interested in all that was going on around him.

The vets van arrived at Ercan and took Scruff away for the night – Said to go to the Ministry of Agriculture Vets Department – quarantine, the following day at 10.00am

Went to Quarantine 10am and Scruff was released on 3 weeks home quarantine.

Make certain you have all the documents required, import license, export

license, rabies blood test certificate, vaccination proof, pet passport and you should

not have a problem.
