extend broadband wdsl problem

Hello, i am subscribed to extend (wireless) wdsl 512kbps package, and i found some internet applications (uTorrent, p2p games etc) doesnt work properly because ports they are using are blocked, but when i am trying to access the router (which i guess is the box that attached to the antenna on the roof) the settings page doesn't load (gives an error - the page is unavaialable). Does anybody know or had the same problem with p2p applications and know how to solve it? and also do extend restrict acces to the router settings or is that just a system bug?

No WDSL provider here will give you direct access to the AP / router that connects you to their network I am afraid. It just not sensible as end user could cause all sorts of problems for their own connection and other peoples if they were to mess up the settings in these boxes.



I play online games via a WDSL serivce , though not extend, and have no trouble with ports being blocked.



Have you tried Hamachi? This might help you get past any port blocking by Extend, if that is your problem. Might be worth a try.
