Our Charity Karakum School for Special needs, needs a new roof over the rest area. It has a metal one at the moment. Will it be possible to just put that Pitch like covering over that, the sort that comes on a roll. Then the ceilings that have been affected by the wet coming in will have to be replaced with plaster board. The wet is coming in through the bolt holes that have come loose. We want to get it fixed for them but as cheap as possible. We have had one quote but it was 4,500tl. A lot of money. we have just done the floor for them. If anyone can help please get in touch. If you have anyones number let me have it by email. my address is on my profile. Thanks KLDS

soirry but my days of being 'physical' in terms of building work are over. i am too lazy these days. But - and this is a long shot, I wonder if Ozbay, the Headmaster of Karsiyaka School might help. He also has a yapi market and I am sure for a school he could acquire the material cheaply and might even know some kind hearted men who could help. If you don't know who I am talking about, I will ask him for you, but maybe there will be enough fellas on this board to help. surely there are enough charitably minded people who will get stuck in. One only has to witness things like the fun Run last week to see how big heartedman y people out here are.

Hi All, I have a 'torch on felt' roof here in Ireland. You will need a couple of PROPANE torches (about £60 each) as butane does not get hot enough or is too highly pressured. It is not a highly skilled job to apply it but care and good heat resistant gloves as essential. A few good people should be able to do the job within the day. Sorry I will not be there until Sept, I would gladly help out. DD
