This issue is gaining momentum here in Scotland thanks to one of our MEP's Alyn Smith.

Nuttynora

good article. would be lovely if most MPs and MEPs could write similar to warn their constituents about the pitfalls.

The whole point about the 5 home owners in question was that they had bought and paid for their properties WITH the advice of their solicitors. They were not fools and parted with their money on "good " advice , ( from who are now known to be lying solicitors ) how were they supposed to know what was to happen two years afterwards ? We are all wise AFTER the event !! There but for the grace of God go all of us who have been LUCKY not to have had the same scam done on us.

As far as the five were concerned, their sales had gone through with no hitch and it was all done and dusted, with their KOCANS to be presented as promised. No one can plan for the illegal and what the Akfinans bank and the former builders did to the five was/is totally illegal and should have been of no concern to them. Only corrupt officials now allow the scam to continue.

No martinD41 the five are not fools they are VICTIMS of corruption.

msg5 Birdman....I am not suggesting they are fools ,"A fool and his money are soon parted"would be the slogan used by the corrupt Estate Agents/Lawyers...But, which ever way you look at it they were "Fooled"..........I don't see what God has to do with it.....
