I arrived in Kyrenia for a holiday and discovered that I had missed Tarkan's Cratos concert by a week. I didn't even know he was playing there. I was gutted. I would be chuffed if I knew Tarkan was playing in my vicinity. I got to see him finally in Paris last week. He was amazing! If he ever plays again be sure to go and see him. He's great! I wonder where you would get the tickets?? I'd be there for sure. I would tie it in with a lovely holiday in Kyrenia....such a beautiful part of the world!



P.S... he makes a beautiful noise!

Nick, I hope your joking, as Tarkan is one of the most popular singer/songwriters in Turkey. AngelaT I also would have seen him if I had the chance.

Very funny Nick.. I am sure you are joking. Dalar, He is truly amazing in concert and has inspired me to learn some Turkish. Unfortunately his nearest concert to England was Paris or Amsterdam! I will be keeping my eye on the Cratos Hotel. What a great excuse to visit Kyrenia again! I'm so envious of the people living out there! x

Angela, from what I have seen on this forum I would suggest you never under estimate NN's apparent ignorance, or his willingness to display it here in public ;)



NN and Tarkan. One is a hugely sucsessful, charismatic sex symbol adored by millions and the other is a Turish pop singer.

Hi Pugwash. Thanks. I have heard that he has played there more than once..that is why I'm keeping my eye out. I didn't think it would have been a big enough venue for Tarkan though! Then again I have nver stayed there.

Hi BigOz. This was last September...so it was quite a while ago. I was just googling to see if he was playing in the Cratos again sometime as I we are thinking of booking another holiday to Kyrenia and this forum came up! I was jus continuing a thread from a while ago as someone was complaining about the noise levels when he played there. I suppose it would have been a bit of a pain if you're not a fan!
