Pegasus touchdown in Izmir / Istanbul

Is there any differnece in these flying experiences?

We have the option to book either and the Izmir touchdown is later in the morning so preferable.

We have flown with Pegasus and done the Istanbul touchdown.

Izmir better as they have the flexibility of turning the aircraft around quicker should it be delayed, making up on potential 'lost slots'.

We have just come back on the Izmir connection on Saturday. It started out at 13.15 on the board rather than 12.45 so would be worth checking whether they have changed it. Prefered the timing as hate getting up early in the morning. Had breakfast at Cafe Durkan before we set out and we had also made sandwiches which we never did on the Istanbul connection. They turned the plane around quickly at Izmir so we ended up actually back on the time it said it was going to be. We are also back on this flight in June!
