| Well they're members of the TRNC Constructors association so a good start: http://www.ktimb.org/en/members?start=50 But as Tenakouou said, look on HBPG site for info on buying: http://www.hbpg-trnc.net/ First rule: Don't buy, but rent first. Second rule: Only buy a property with deeds (kocan) in owners name and present at point of sale. Third rule: No Kocan: No money (but very difficult for non Turkish Cypriot buyer as you have to wait for permission to purchase, and can take years) Fourth rule: Forget the whole idea, the TRNC is not a safe place to invest. |

| Our builder (not the one you are referring to) is a member of the TRNC Construction Association, and it didn't stop them leaving the site to rot, with no infrastructure, half the villas not built (but paid for), and with a mortgage on the land from the Landowner. No title deed of course.. Plus, the Construction Association did nothing about it when we put in a formal complaint to them..... So, I agree thoroughly with Rule 4.. no matter how attractive the price looks, or how beautiful the location, or how apparently friendly and honest the people.. it is increasingly unlikely to ever be yours... |
