Not a lot to choose, both work well, for what they are designed for. They are slow at peak times, work well for normal internet use and emails. Not good for Skype calls at peak times, forget about downloading, streaming. Cost is about about 70YTL for a month, can't remember cost of dongle. Hope this helps.

Hi i was in Cyprus a couple of weeks ago and brought a second hand G3 turkcell for 55tl but had to take it in and have it reregisteredto my phone and buy a new sim cost 45tl and new only 107tl and the new ones are easier and smaller now but it depends on what you have to down load as i brought 3meg 60tl a time but with my job i had a lot of down loads so cost me 60tl every 4-6 days so was expensive great for back up but not to work with i was there for 5 weeks so would have been cheaper to have internet put on for that time 300tl but most Hotels bars have WiFi internet and do not mind you using theirs if you are eating or drinking or staying there

This page gives you the costs http://www.kktcell.com/pages/2127.aspx If it helps we get 2gb per month and we check email use facebook look at the news pages etc daily and use skype (not video or voice just type ) everyday and we dont go over the limit. We dont download much and we dont watch online things so it depends on your use needs.

Does any one have experience of abroadband.com for mobile internet? Based in Austria they are offering 1 MB for 0.59 euros pay as you go, after purchasing their sim card for 19 euros or 49 euros including USB modem stick. They claim to cover 55 countries via various providers, including Turkey, but not sure if it would work in TRNC. http://www.abroadband.com/en/GB/yourbenefits

Osprey1 - why would you want to pay the equivalent of 1 lira per MB? Even PAYG KKTCELL is a LOT cheaper than that.. Just checking e-mail would cost a fortune..
