| please can any one help me, why when I am using a roller to re paint the paint starts coming off??? what can I do to stop this happening i have rubbed down some of the walls an applied a thin layer of plaster but it still comes off again. can any on offer a solution to this anoying problem. many thanks M |

| use a sealant first like pva solution or latex |

| mix pva glue and water about 6/1 6part water 1 part pvs glue. then paint that on and let it dry. once its dried yo should be able to paint easy. |

| none of the above is true unfortunately if you dont know what was on the wall before you started painting then you have to scrap the lot off sounds like it may have been sealed. if you need advise give me a call 0533 839 4051 |

| forget the roller , try brushing it on , takes longer but it will adhere better first time . |

| i had this problem just a few weeks ago.....scrape off all loose paint......sand ...seal, use brush as Rowlo says. Sounds like paint was applied straight to the plaster, appliying paint to damp plaster also makes paint come off. |
