Unfortunately no. My Dyson has died (think it's electrical connection) but can't find anyone who knows anything about the wiring of them here. However we had Dyson parts sent over from the a main Dyson parts company in the UK (not Dyson themselves, they were too expensive!!) last year. The service was terrific and took only 6 days to get here. Can't remember the exact name of the company, but if you Google "spare parts for Dyson" you'll recognise them. Hope this helps.

Tektans in Girne are very good at electrical repairs and NOT a rip off, up the side of the old Socrates Hotel

Depending on what model Dyson you have, there is an importer on the South side. Check Dyson website for their address. Agree that Tektan are good, but even better is the guy next door to Superclean by the Jasmine Court turning in Girne. Dyson UK extremely helpful and send stuff very quickly, have used them a couple of times and they always ring back when they say they will. Hope this helps.

Re. msg 6: Was yours the stand-up model, 'numpty', or the drag one?

We've got the purple and green coloured drag model and most of the hose connections are rooted beyond repair - thanks God for 'duct tape'!

If you've the same model [I'm guessing the motor on yours is rooted], have you any other 'bits' on offer, or for a small cash consideration?

Hi Numpty or anyone else that can help.

I need a new motor for my Dyson DC07. If there is anyone out there that has a Dyson they don't use and want to part with it for spares let me know. If all else fails I am going to bring back new part from the UK. There is a repair centre opposite the Green Valley Petrol Station Alsancak and Tektan who can repair Dysons. Unfortunately finding the spares is a problem.

Try http://www.espares.co.uk .

Very helpful.

They even have videos showing you how to refit spare parts!
