Hi all,

I received a letter from the UK Pensions Dept stating that future pensions will be remitted in Turkish lira since I am living in North Cyprus. I am not familiar with the rate of exchange and cost of transferring money from the UK to N. Cyprus via Turkey. Presently they charge me 9 GBP to change Stg. cheque into Turkish lira. Should I continue to be paid in Sterling or accept to be paid in TL if the latter will be cheaper? What are your experiences?
