Hi, we stayed at Park Lane Bungalows (just down from Riverside in Alsancak) last October. Just wondered if any one knew what was happening there at the moment (the link to their website no longer works). We are renting a villa near by at the end of May for a week. We have some friends who are coming over to join us but they need somewhere to sleep! Any info or any other thoughts welcomed. Many thanks, JoAnne

With out doubt the very best place to stay in Alsancak is The Almond Holiday Village: http://www.almond-holidays.com/ The pictures are fantastic.........but it's much better.......and run by a fabulous family.....give Gulten a ring...I guarantee your guests will not be disappointed!!!!!!

Not sure about Park Lane bungalows, BUT I can absolutely thoroughly recommend Almond Holiday Village in Alsancak, if, and its a big IF they are not full. Year after year its full most of the time and the family are simply wonderful, nothing but nothing is ever too much trouble and the gardens are gorgeous. Tango1

Must agree that Almonds is a lovely place. Although we've never stayed at Park Lane, we have eaten/had a drink there and it, too, is very nice indeed. Will be visiting both, hopefully, in a few weeks time.

Thanks AeriaBar. Any idea when they will be open? We are over on 29 May and my friends on the 31 May? Thanks for the Almond Holiday Village recommendations. Appreciate that they are invariably booked up in advance hence the Park Lane enquiry. JoAnne
